A classic Georgian house, conveniently located just 1 mile from the historic market town of Carmarthen.
Set in a beautiful semi-rural position in the village of Trevaughan,Dolwerdd is a great place for spotting wildlife, Buzzards and Red Kite can regularly be seen circling overhead.
We have two comfortable rooms with countryside views, a double and twin.Both have en suite facilities, TV, hospitality tray, and free Internet access.(wi-fi)
Check-in time is from 3.pm.,check-out time by 11a.m.
Off-road parking in our driveway is also available along with a secure garage for bicycles and motorbikes.
Situated on the river Towy, Carmarthen the oldest town in Wales is the County town of Carmarthenshire, with a population of approx. 14,000, and a large proportion of Welsh speakers.

Carmarthan's former cattle market has undergone regeneration with a modern new shopping centre, including Appollo Multi-Screen Cinema, and a new market hall.
Our nearest beach is just 10 minutes away at Llansteffan, complete with Castle, which originated in early 12th Century, a great place for walkers and families built by Norman Conquerors. In 1146, the Princes of Deheubarth captured the castle from the and held it for 12 years.
Legend has it that Carmarthen was the birthplace of Merlin, the wizard of Arthurian folklore. The famous Black Book of Carmarthen includes poems with reference to Myrddin.
